CANON: Genshin Impact
AGE / DOB: (spoilers here and throughout info) ~6000 years on a world that's not earth, probably, and vaguely high fantasy/historical in setting appearance. (You might assume he's one of those dang 'is 2000, appears 25' characters, and he is, but he's got an excuse: the form shown in his icons is expressly a new human form he's taken on to blend in.)

AURAL: [ chinese | english ] his vocal cadence is a bit warmer and friendlier than this archetype usually gets.
OLFACTORY: the somewhat cool, stale air inside caves; clay; soft and sophisticated floral scents. it's canonical that he's got a preference for 'nice old lady' perfume.
DEMEANOR: calm, collected, direct; polite and talkative in a droning but kindly professor way; not generally the best at detecting guile in others; both preening but prone to deflecting too much direct praise.

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: always okay oocly. Zhongli will be very alright with normal social touching and even some things orbiting that (hands on shoulders when speaking privately or for attention, etc) although it's unlikely he will initiate. For more intimate things (hugs, etc) it will vary based on CR, but it's unlikely he'll react with violence, and he may reciprocate.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: always okay oocly. Zhongli will stand for very little and he's capable of fighting back very swiftly and brutally if he sees fit. (That said, oocly I'm looking for the most interesting threads possible, not to godmode, so I'm up for negotiating whatever outcomes are most fun.)
RELATIONSHIPS: open to ship developing naturally via thread cr. No smut. Okay with age gaps/underage to a point (prob ~16 at low end), any gender is fine; chemistry matters more. for castmates: open to basically any ship you can think of, more interested in if we click as writers before committing to a ship in-thread. (i'd list pet faves but trust me it's easy enough to get the obvious pairs that i'll be delighted to get tagged by less-common castmates, for eventual ship or otherwise.)
PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: always welcome oocly. Zhongli is, again, something like a god in-universe, so feel free to play with that as you will (making it harder, or maybe easier for some reason, or distorting it, etc) but he has no mentioned immunity to that kind of thing!

His weapon of choice, aside from the world-altering magic powers, is a polearm. As mentioned in the 'violence' portion, I'm more interested in the thread being fun for both parties than anything else though.
